The Downfall :

Walking down my teens,
Holding my parents lean,
I went on treks to Dang,
That is where the beauty of nature kissed me.
I grew up in the heart of nature
Away from pollution and noise .

Not leaving the nature
Close-by Western Ghats,
Chosen to study further in karnataka.
I never stopped camping!
Standing still, my heart with nature,
Serving the nature in glory.
An NGO was the plan
With Surat being the clan.
Not a minute in wine
We started nurturing nature,
And spread awareness among folks.

Funding was an enemy to fight,
Love and awareness were not enough
to start an NGO.
Support was not easy to find,
With ease it would come.
If it were a hospital, school or temple
Time is witness, Mother Nature
is left all alone all the time!

It's the tide that people are worried for ,
And not the ride it will cost to overcome it.
Fighting to keep it high
And make it fly,
People won't contribute.

My belief distributed,
Nature being ignored
It sent you a metaphor
It ached my heart.

Bowing the seed is easy
Growing is tough!
The budget it takes,
The fencing it takes,
The caring it takes,
All this was not acceptable to fundraisers.

Taking camera in one hand,
And a herb in other,
Youth will post to get likes,
But not one will dig even a small hole!
Sophisticated it may seem,
Generation that has deemed.

Will this generation ever understand
The threat that nature possess us?
Will they ever know animals as living beings?
Will they ever nurture nature
The way it has been nurturing us?
Will they ever pass on the awareness ?
Nature knows.

The uprising :

Where there is a will, there is a way. Gradually I started finding nature lovers like me and convinced them to be part of this journey.

The club was founded by three of the nature enthusiasts in 1984, out of which I am actively involved in the club even today. This club has about 800 members, out of which mostly are students.

On every birthday of mine, I have resolved to plant a tree. This year also, I planted a tree and entered the senior citizen group 🙂 This thing seems so cliche but it is the most effective way of gradually increasing greenery in the world.

11 years back I started building an ECO-Home with a concept of no power connection, no water connection, no sewer connection in this house. I have been living here for 8 years now. Architects and builders from all over the world have come to see the strategy of building this home. I am a mechanical engineer by profession and that helped me in building this ECO-Home.

No matter what are you in professional life, anyone can contribute to saving our world from major natural disasters that happen due to a lack of human attention. If not monetarily, then just by not harming it more.

This below link will redirect you to the beautiful journey of nature where I with so many volunteers have been serving nature from so long 🙂
